I gave a client his files (using clip browser to dupe) on a hard drive, but he can't open them. Gets an error message: XDCAM Transfer could not find any XDCAM compatible files at the location '/Volumes/ATV/HT/INT./20081103101134' . (the interview file created on Nov.3 at 10:11am; "ATV" was the name I'd given his new hard drive when I formatted it with Disk Utility.)
He was at first getting a message from FCP log & transfer saying "contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media." So based on forum advice, I suggested he either choose a folder containing the BPAV folder, not that folder itself, or get the XDCAM transfer plugin, v.2.5.
Now, with XDCAM transfer, he's getting the new "compatible files at the location" error.Don't know what FCP version he has.
