seems the switch is going flaky. slightest touch and it's jumping all over the menu items. Makes it pretty difficult to select anything in the menu. Doesn't seem like it can be cleaned. Anyone know about user replacement and how big a job it is? I have electronic repair experience.

Frankly, I don't think it's something you want to do. I had the same thing on 1 of my cameras a couple of years ago and since it had to go to Sony for a head replacement anyway they fixed that as well. Pretty much the whole cam body has to come apart but IF you can get the part and IF you're really brave... ;-)

stands to reason that this part would wear out.
