I have been doing the down convert in vegas 8c and it looks pretty good, but i would like to compare to bringing in footage down converted in the EX3 to vegas.
When i try to capture the footage from firewire...it sees the EX3 and can control the camera but all i get is a blue screen in the capture window. (yes i enabled the firewire and changed the settings of the camera to sd.) What am i missing?

Just a guess, but doesn't it still have to go out via the Clip Broswer to be properly wrapped?
