Anyone know if the Panasonic AVCHD Transcoder (AVCHD to P2 DVCPRO HD) will work to get the 5D Mark II AVCHD 38mbs .mov 1080p files into Adobe CS3 or CS4. If not, then any suggestions.
Thanks,

Thanks, Lorenzo Asso November 6th, 2008, 06:11 PM other better path to transcode: dgavcdec+avistynth+virtualdubmod+lagarith in this way you obtain a new file with no quality loss since it is compressed by lagarith that is a loseless codec. the file wiil be inside avi container. another way. since vegas 8 is able to read avisynth file by vfapi. you can create a script by dgavcdec+avisynth. you can pass that script inside vfapi and now the new file will be possible to be frameserved inside vegas. Also this way is completely loseless. ciao! Dallas Zhen November 10th, 2008, 04:35 PM I think much better to transcoding 5D2 .Mov file to the editing software friendly file. For FCP is ProRes, and for PR CS3 and 4 is HQ AVI. Cheers, Dallas |
