Hi,
Im posting this to see if it's just me or whether anyone else is seeing problems.
I generally find i get random cineform (prospect HD) errors when using both premiere and after effects at the same time. (And i suspect if you have dynamic linked compositions within the timeline). I will get crashes in various CFRenderProc modules or premiere will no longer render. A restart and going into premiere alone usually works.
Also i've not been able to render out a 70000 frame project with out rendering it on the time line in chunks first. It will generally always freeze or crash if i don't. (I have 8GB under winxp64).
Im on 3.4.0 build 174 (according to HDLink). Im running on a quad core so i think this could be some kind of threading interaction.
Another example is if i render in AE (multithreaded) then quite often the AE Render processes will crash one by one during an output render (CFRenderProc again). However if i capslock before rendering (to freeze the interactive display) i can generally render okay.
Again sounds like some multithreading interaction going on.
Is this unique to me, or are others experiencing something similar.
cheers
paul
