I will begin a project in a couple of weeks with the V1U.

Just wondering if anyone would be willing to share their set up preferences?

Please be as specific as possible with the following:

color lvl
color phase
sharp
skintone dtl
skintone lvl
wb shift
knee
blk lvl
cinematone gama
cinematone color

search this thread for past responses, I have put up a few, however, I shoot today mostly with the camera default and correct it post with vegas 8 and magic bullet looks. believe me, if you look at footage from the V1 hooked up to an HD tv thru a hdmi cable your footage will need very correction.

agree entirely - i played around for a few shoots, most with -ae and sharpness, but finally decided all of what i wanted could be done in post. default (apart from limiting gain to 6db) seem to be perfectly acceptable as a base to work from.

I think Hugh means very *little* correction.

yes, very little if any, what you see on any computer monitor is no way near what you will see right from the camera thru hdmi to the HD tv. unless you are using a HD tv for your monitor.
