I have been researching and have decided that I am going to buy one of these two cameras this week. I know they are basically the same camera except for the internal flash drive.

There is a $100.00 difference in the two camera so price really isn't a big deal because with the HF100, I would have to buy the 16gig card and a card reader...

But you who are using either, is is a major convenience to have the internal flash drive? Also, is transferring files from the internal to my MAc any different in time than with a card and reader?

Any other thoughts would be appreciated!

Using the HF100 - 16 gigs of internal memory wasn't worth $100 to me when I could buy a card for $25.
