A while back I posted asking for suggestions on where to buy lens gear rings for my Nikon primes. I had originally bought a ffocus from the India company on ebay, and they didn't have all the sizes gear rings I needed (came with a set of 6). I fianlly found them at Redrock, for around $50 each. ( the Indian rings go for $70 for a set of 6!)
When I received my order from Redrock, it came with several additional longer bolts( in addition to standard length) for connecting and tightening the rings. I realized that I could use two of the India rings which were two small, and make them work with the longer bolts. A trip to Home Depot and another $70 (instead of $280), would have done the trick. But at least I now have rings for all of my lenses.
