Source clips are 50i (25fps interlace), MP4 files from EX1. When I convert them to Cineform AVI (HD Link Prospect HD), with Deinterlace option off, the result clip looked like got deinterlace anyway.
I did a comparison test at the same timecode.
1. MP4 file - HDLink AVI - After Effects (clip got deinterlace eventhough Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF)
2. MP4 file - After Effects (clip doesn't get deinterlace, Intepret Footage - Separate Fields:OFF)
I uploaded sample files, but only a quarter portion of the image so we can see it at 100% viewing.
