I just noticed in Vegas 8.0c when opening a text the Key Frame section is missing so you can't do any effect. Any idea how I can get it back ?

take the arrow and drag the bottom of the FX page down to make it bigger. This is a common problem and shakes everyone at least once. Make the window bigger and like magic the TL and keyframes will appear. ;-)

The keyframe area is resizable. An addendum to Don - move the mouse just above the bottom of the dialog box. The mouse will be an up/down arrow. Click and drag UPWARD to resize the keyframe area. If the dialog resizes instead, your mouse was too far down.
