After 15 charges of my BP-U60 battery, I have noticed that it has settled down and INCREASED its operational use from around 4 and a bit hours to just over 5 hours (313 minutes in fact). I have confirmed this with at least 3 uses after charging over the last week, including today, where it started with 328 minutes but quickly settled down to 313 minutes.

Not bad at all!!!

What do your BP-U60 batteries give you on your EX3?

For the time being, I just have the one (plus the 30 that came with the camera). I am looking at the AB QR-EX3 mount + 2 Dionic 90s but.....

Looking forward to reading your results.

My BPU-60 gives about 300 minutes on my EX3, depending on the types of shot I'm doing. I agree, not bad!

Same here, 300 mins.
My next purchase battery wise will be the swit battery for the EX1,it has a D-tap so i'll be getting a light after that.

Are you referring to the run time display, or to actual run time? If the first, it means the fuel gauge became more accurate due to self calibration...

Thanks,

According to Sony's literature on the PMW-EX3, the battery run time should be about 210 minutes. Even settling at around 240 to 260 minutes would have been nice, but to settle down to over 300 minutes is great.

I will be using the camera daily through this week, so I will be checking the battery run time to see if the readings are the same.
