Fall has begun in this neck of the woods.
Canon XHA1/Letus Ultimate, Kessler 8’ crane.
Most shots done with Nikon 24mm f2.8 set to f8, some shots with 50mm f1.8 set to f8.
Preset used is “EOS Photo”. You can find it on DVInfo.net.
I tweaked the color and brought the black levels up and did minor white balance color correction.
No narration in this one.

Hi, Steven. Very nice. May I ask how you prepare it for Vimeo? The day my A1 arrived about three weeks ago, I ran out to shoot some of the fall colors in my part of Upstate NY. I rendered it out according to the parameters detailed on the Vimeo site, but the result suffers from compression artifacts in a way that your videos do not.
Again, beautiful work. It was a pleasure to watch.

Thanks Bill.
I always render it at a higher bit rate than they recommend. So my files for Vimeo are set to 10,000mbps. It seems that if you start with a good "master" file, it compresses better on that site.
At worst, you can make the higher rez version available for download so people can see it closer to how you originally intended.

Thanks for the tip, Steven. I didn't even have a tripod for that first outing, so I won't be subjecting anyone to a higher res version of that footage. It just felt so good to be out shooting again (I left public television 7 years ago to attend med school and am now coming close to the end of my residency in pediatrics). And Autumn in this part of NY has a way of making even hastily shot footage look good.
