And for the rest of ya's who either haven't got your accounts activated yet or are just now reading this, the sign-up will remain open until Nov. 16! You can do like I may be doing, which is writing, shooting, editing and uploading on that day...

I may have to drop out of this one...before I really even got started. the Documentary one totally took over this last weekend, and unless a golden opportunity presents itself, I just don't have the time. I will keep my options open though, as I have an idea and a rough script in my head.

This is my first time with this challenge, but I finally have some free time so I figured I will try to shoot and edit everything in a matter of days.

Hey, Ken, I hope something works out for the weekend.

Everyone should keep in mind that just because there's a 5 minute time limit the film doesn't have to be that long. I think mine is probably going to clock in at just over two minutes. We once had a challenge winner (Mike Teutsch) with a 30 second PSA!

Is it too late for me to sign up? If not, count me in.

WHICH reminds me: Just a reminder to everyone to give enough time for uploading to either YouTube or Vimeo and emailing the working link to thedvchallenge@gmail.com

Sometimes the process takes longer than you think, because sometimes (especially with Vimeo) there can be uploading glitches. Wouldn't want any of you tearing out your hair because it's the eleventh hour and your upload isn't working. I uh....speak from experience. :)

I'm going to turn this into a Less-Than-48-Hour competition by signing up now. I see the tiniest smidge of a chance to get something done in time, so I figure I should clock in here in case I'm able to finish.
