Hey, I have been using XL2 since over a half year back but I must say that I really become in love when using it together with the 3x.
This is just a little test done with it.

Happy viewing. And for the ones trying to decide if 3x is worth the bucks, download the good 962x542 version.

Nice work David!
How did you get such steady shots, while in the water?

Thanks Jeff!
I believe the wide angle helpt since it's at its widest here, 24mm, also I lay my arm over the railing to steady my arms (the best advise I can give) and aditionally that the ferry was rather large.
The 3x is absolutely a great lens, it should be a standard for each XL owner.
Take care,
David

You're right David, when you said about using the 3x wide for landscapes (almost a no brainer, but if one hasn't used the 3x wide for landscapes...). And for handheld, you can certainly turn of the OIS when using at the wide zoom.

Yeah the lens it tremendous for landscapes. But funny enough the 16x manual is somewhat much poorer in hand held use. I find the 3x when zoomed in full to be better then the 16x, because it surely misses the OIS.
I will post some with a narrative next time.
