Sorry to be a nit-picker, but this is not quite correct if you are referring to field of view. 0.8 is 80% of the focal length and would be 1/0.8 "wider" or 25% wider if you want to talk field of view. 0.8 1/0.8 25% 0.7 1/0.7 43% 0.6 1/0.6 66% 0.5 1/0.5 100% |
