The camera just arrived this afternoon--beautiful! Is it me or is anyone else having a hard time getting any information from the Owners Manual? It's feels more like a dictionary than an instruction manual.

For example, how do you calibrate the monitor/viewfinder? Can it be done?

All camera manuals-- Sony, Panasonic or JVC-- just seem to deal with rudiments of camera operation. There are several great third party instructional DVD's out there. Not certain which are site sponsors so best not for me to post names, but easy enough to find.

Well all you have to do is look to the top or bottom the DVi web page and see the sponsor splash for Vortex EX1/3 training. Invaluable resource to get you up to speed and go back to over and over as a reference.

Yeah, I wound up ordering the DVDs from Vortex.

So I guess none of the EX3 owners here have calibrated the monitor?
