Damn! Sign me up, these look sweet. I am sure that they will be really expensive but the technology looks like really pro level stuff.

Switchable color temp with 3200k and 5600k presets! Nice.

I saw these at NAB back when Element Labs introduced them. That was April. They were supposed to ship in June. So far, I've never seen one in the wild.

They were also coy about the price, indicating that it had not been set at that time. Here we are six months later and even a pretty dedicated web search doesn't show up any for sale with an actual price.

I have no clue what that means - other than perhaps a production/yield delay or some other holdup.

Depending on the price point I might be interested - but without a price guideline, there's no way to judge them against existing technology.

Interesting concept, tho.

The Flolight 500LED is about $500 now...Litepanels equivalent is about $1100. So I'd guess the Kinoflo will be over $1500.
