When I shoot in scenefile F6 with OIS on or off... I seem to have shaking in my picture when I later view it on VTR. It comes no matter if the camera is tele or wided! It´s like it try´s to compensate for the moving i make, even if I have held it very calm and steady. Is this something you guys have seen or heard of???
Do I need to take it back to the dealer or repair?
Thanks
Lars Ege.

is it on a tripod?
if it is an you have OIS turned on, you WILL notice jittering
no matter how steady your hands may be, with the OIS on or off you will notice shaking as the cams weight (or lack of) doesnt give much balance to your arms. The cam DOES have balance, but your arms arent working that much so movement from your arms while holding the cam is easier.
If you weigh it down or lower your centre of gravity, the shakiness will be less substantial.
Also shake looks 10 times worse on a big screen that what it looks like in the viewfinder.
the PAL DVX is identical to the NTSC the only difference being progressive modes and resolution

Even if it is or is not on the tripod, it still jiggers...???
It's like the optic stabilizer is trying to compensate for something that is't nessesary!! It's really crappy looking!
OIS is for more steady shoots right!? :-)

The Pana MX300 had this problem, and after 2 new versions of newer firmware, the OIS problem after 5X has been resolved. Perhaps the Pana DVX suffers from a similar problem. Just a thought.

I certainly have not seen an OIS problem on the NTSC model...works pretty much like it did on my XL-1.
