I've been using the HVX-200 for 18 months and love it, but amazingly enough I've never had a clip that I wanted to keep that had been partially written on one P2 card and continued onto a second P2 card. I normally transfer my clips as files via the USB connector to my NLE (Edius Broadcast), but can't figure out how to transfer this "broken" clip. I read the manual on the camera but it was no help. What is the correct action ?

So since there have been no answers posted, can I assume that what most people do is to play the video out of the camera and capture directly to the NLE when there is a P2 clip that extends across two P2 cards ?

Actually not sure how it works in Edius. In FCP as long as you have both cards loaded onto your hard drive they are automatically rejoined. I imagine it would be similar here. Or you could simply place them next to each other on the timeline. The camera automatically continues the clip from card to card without missing a frame.

Thanks, Noah. I did use the camera playback via 1394 with live capture into the NLE and it worked well. I'll have to try loading the clips into the bin and see if that method works as well.
