Hello,
I'll get right to the point. I have been filming with a XL2 and 16x manual for the VO sequences on my upcoming documentary. But I’m in a need for a better wideangel option, 24-35mm in 35mm equalling figures. So there are a few options for me to be able to pull some shots of:
* Buying a used Canon 3x lens.
* Investing in a upcoming Blade adapter and lenses from Contax or Canon.
Of course these two options differ largely in the case of economics and since the budget doesn’t support the second alternative for at least three or more months. I'm a bit lost in taste of ether the DOF look and postponed the documentary shots, or make the job done with the 3x lens.
Since money won’t come from the trees any near time, what would be your choice?
Thanks
