I've kinda posted about this before, but the thread hasn't been active in while. Thought I'd make a seperate thread and see what responses I get.
I've got the beyerdynamic ea-86 shockmount and the at-835b. I'm planning on buying a nice $30 telescoping painting pole from lowes and am trying to figure out how I can attach the shockmount to the end. I've seen this before:

I don't know if anyone has this set up or has their own home built booms that do the trick. If so, I'd love to see them/hear how you did it. Please shoot me an email with pictures or a link to your site. I'd like to have a professional boom, but as far as I'm concerned it's really not the most essential part of my kit. A nice tripod comes before a boom pole. I don't care if it has gitzo printed on it, just so long as it holds my at-835b and gets the job done with minimal handeling noise! Thanks everyone!
