Hi Vegas users,
I have been shooting some stills timelapse sequences using Canon DSLR cameras. I create this content but generally do not edit the final show. I provide it as stock imagery directly to the client, in conjunction with the regular stills photo work.
I size the jpegs still images to 1920 x 1080 pixels and then put them on the Vegas timeline.
My question is what would be the best cross platform, cross program, file type/codec to render to, keeping the best HD quality and I guess 4.2.2 colour space?
A universal file!
I did some .AVIs using the Cineform codec but not everyone has or wants to install the cineform codec.
I understand that Vegas does not handle Quicktime rendering that well.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Robert
