I just went from:
Neo HDV 3.3.1.169
To
Neo HDV 3.4.1.179
And IT COMPLETELY BROKE ALL MY PROJECTS. The black levels are completely screwed up now. I've been working on the same NEO projects in Sony Vegas for months carefully keeping within the Studio RGB (16-235) workflow. Now all of the my NEO files show up as computer RGB (0-255).
I just ran a test on another computer that did not have NEO installed yet. I first installed the earlier version Neo HDV 3.3.1.169 and black levels were fine. Then I installed the current version Neo HDV 3.4.1.179 and black levels were are screwed up. The problem is that no matter what I do trying to unistall NEO, clean the registry etc. I cannot get back to the earlier version of NEO. It install fine but levels are still screwed up and when I go to render as in Vegas it shows the latest codec (v3.9.6) as opposed to (v3.8.2). At this point I am comtemplating an entire re-install with time I do not have. This is really lame and should have been caught prior to release.
