I have been using DV for a while after an initial test with HDV was dreadful. So I was doing a test shoot the other day with HDV. I have ripped all my footage and it looks good. I now want to cut it up and export it.
When ever I export it the quality is dreadful and doesnt fill the screen.


I want to export using CS3 in HD cause I know SD down conversion is really bad.

What is the best work flow for working with HDV.

HDV split or Sony Vegas to rip the footage.

What should i export it as including pixel ratio codec size etc.. I have tried HD ratio and 1440 by 1080 using H264.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
