Danny O'Neill September 3rd, 2008, 12:30 PM Add your URL to Google (http://www.google.com/addurl/)
Thats it, they will crawl your site when there ready and index it.

Google's display rank algorithm considers many things.
For example, if you search for "wedding video" in google, it tries to show these pages on top which google thinks is the best match for your query considering the following:
- how many times the search phrase occurs in the page
- how important the phrase in HTML code is. Eg, is the phrase in header or in footnotes? Or even in the domain name?
- how high is your page's PageRank. PageRank expresses your page's reputation in google's eyes. The more high ranked pages link to you, the higher PageRank you get
- The more content,the better.
And so on :)
There is much information available on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Google's algorithm.

Chris Davis September 3rd, 2008, 02:29 PM I don't think anyone read your message - just your title! :)
Go to "Settings" - change the text under "Browser Title". My personal preference is to enter your company name, two or three word desctiption, and city (i.e. "Bowtie Productions - Affordable Wedding Video in Fort Lauderdale, FL")
Your web page title is what Google will display in large text on the results page - it's what people will read first. Make it short and descriptive.

What is PageRank? is it the more traffic on your site, the better the page rank (when searched, you're on top?)

Yunisbel Marrero October 8th, 2008, 03:38 PM make sure you use your meta tag, keyword, links exchanges, ect... there is a lot of options. one really good tool i recommend and is free is "Google Analytics" this will tell you your visitor, who came back, from where, and if they use a Search Engine or it was a direct traffic, how long there were in your page...Register on those wedding websites too...
thanks and good luck.

Google Business Solutions (http://www.google.com/services/)
Then goto "Local Business Center"
I've gotten quite a few hits from it. If people do a search for "wedding videos near flint, mi", you can find my business on the map they have, but I am not on the first 3 or 4 pages of search results.
