I am running stock canon light and sometimes VID LED light but when I pan upwards I get the shadow from the mic. I don't want to offload the shotgun mic - does anyone know if there is a bracket and light that will fit the stock light mount that will sit farther out above the lens?

lightwave systems make one - originally designed for the XL1 to isolate the mic from the camera motor.

Works great on the XLH1 to move long shotguns (with fuzzy) out of the viewfinder, should work for your purpose
