BCC has a choice I believe called "correct selected" to perform secondary color correction. Is anyone using BCC for secondary color correction? Other recommendations?
BTW, I have AXP 5.8.4.
THANKS MUCH.
P.S. I don't have BCC b/c I use the Academic Version (I'm a teacher) but could of course buy it.

You might try 3prong ColorFix
3Prong AVX Plug-Ins for Avid (http://www.3prong.com/)

It looks pretty impressive. Do you use it? Thanks.

I do use it for secondary color correction.
ColorFix works for me, and I've never really played with BCC Correct Selected so I can't compare the two.
3prong does offer a trial version so you can see if it works for you.

Yossi,
I got some good results. I really like that you can join color sample ranges.
Had a few issues, wondering if you've experienced the same:
1) Buggy performance when setting View to Input to see the uncorrected footage in the Record monitor.
2) Can't sample from Source monitor (documentation states this may be the case with some versions of Avid).
Thanks much for your help.

Avid has a special offer for people who bought Avid MC via download. You can get the Avid Bundle, which includes Avid FX and BCC, plus a couple more add-ons, for $195. It's a deal.

Thank you very much, I did find the offer. I wonder if it will work with the Academic version of AXP 5.8.4? It only mentions MC3, I think it's worth a shot.

1) Don't forget that the Enable button needs to be off to see the uncorrected color. View set to Input, with the Enable button on will show the corrected shot
2) I don't think I've noticed this before

If you get it to work with AXP, it looks like a great deal.
