Hi,
I've been using Pinnacle Studio8 to create DVDs. I've read that many people complain about the MPEG2 encoder. I've compared various footage encoded with Studio8 and TMPGEnc, but I really didn't notice the difference in my 6000-8000 kpbs examples. Is there much of a difference at the higher bitrates? If anyone could describe the type of footage or (big favor) post a multimegabyte DV file that pushes the limit, I would be most grateful. Also,
I'll summarize my results. I plan to compare Studio8, TMPGEnc and Vegas4 (Main Concept encoder).
