What techniques in Vegas and DVDA do you use for creating a DVD with both widescreen and full screen versions of a project on the same DVD?

Thanks,
Dave

Anyone putting both widescreen and full screen on the same DVD? I know I'm askng a vaque question, but I'm just looking for tips on how to do it, if it can be done at all. I know how to use Vegas and DVDA, so I'm not looking for step by step instructions.

Thanks.

i'd create a fullscreen DVD (4:3), take the WS files and import to a Vegas project set to 4:3, render them and add to the fullscreen files already in DVD-A.

Most DVD players are smart enough to know the difference, so I just drop both videos into DVDA and let the DVD players take care of the rest. The menus are the main problem for me. Just to be safe I almost always use widescreen menus because it basically looks the same on both 4:3 (letterbox) and 16:9 TVs.

As Michael suggests, use the wide template for a mixed aspect ratio DVD presentation, it's easier.
As far as the media...Render both projects, one to each SAR. Create two projects, one 4:3 ad the other as widescreen. Copy the entire project from one to the other, copying from wide, and pasting in 4:3 check EVERY event, to be sure that you're not cutting critical information, even if you were shooting for film, framing for television.

It sounds like it's a fairly straight forward process. And I was wondering how to handle the menus...thanks.
