Here's a new trailer I just finished from last weekend. I took a little different approach and highlighted more of the ceremony and let that drive the video a little more. This priest usually has a lot more to say, and it was my intention to use a lot of that, but was pretty short for this wedding. I was still able to get a few bits of audio to use.

Thanks guys! I'm using canon xha1's .

I would normally not put the priest in very much if at all, but he was a big part of their day and has known them forever so it's more for the bride than the sake of the trailer. I could always put a lot more neat things and shots I love in these but I try to incorporate things that mean a lot to the couples so the trailer, and video, is more personal for them.

thanks again!

Top notch trailer. I didn't think there was too much of the priest at all. The segments you chose were all very meaningful and powerful, and really put some emotion into the piece I thought. You kind of used the priest to tell the story of why this couple was coming together. I liked it.

I also LOVED both of the sunset shots .. just gorgeous.

What steadicam device are you using with your A1's? The moves were nice and smooth.

Excellent trailer. Great editing, shots and pace.

I'm using a glidecam 2000 for all of my shots.

Superb, superb, superb.

I loved the bit when the priest says "each day a couple are called to lay down their lives for each other"

This is a bit of a morbid request, normally we only hear this sort of request in a war film.

Maybe marriage is an ongoing battle.

Loved the shots all the same, well done Matt

Hey Matt, that was beautiful! I am not religious, but I really like the parts with the priest, it really bought home the momentous occasion a wedding really is, which I think is sometimes lost. Some highlights look fabulous like a fashion shoot, but this was really a beatiful way to appreciate the day.
Well done!
