I have some questions with the 503hdv and 351MVB2k setup, i might be sounding like a real newb here, so healp me out!

1. the 351MVB2 has a 75mm half bowl on the top, and the 503 has a flat bottom with a 3/8 hole in it, correct?

-how do these two connect? do they?

2. is a max hight, in this case 5.2 feet, tall enough? or will my shots all look as if im looking up at someone while there standing...

Thanks! --Corwin

screw the head onto the 3/8 stud on the top of the ball head (leveler). Tighten down with the set screws underneath.
Place the ball head with the 503 on it into the bowl. Place the handle onto the stud underneath it tighten. Done.
oops, forgot the height question.
Is it 62 inches or 72 inches. I don't remember but I use the 525 legs and when in the full up positionit's more than 62 inches. True, I use a center spreader that keep the legs narrower than the floor spreader but still I can get about 6 feet out of my legs. I know it's that because I'm 5'6" and I have to reach to get to the camera controls when it's up.

I have the 351MVB2/503(non-hdv)combo. With the legs fully extended, i have to turn the lcd screen down to look on it. I guess the cameralens is somewhere around the height of 190/195cm.

You have the bowl in the top of the legs and the head. What you seem to be missing is the 75mm "ball".
