I sold an hd100 and during shipping it to the buyer, the package was damaged (the lens was the only thing damaged) I had it fully insured but its a major pain in the ass trying to get the insurance money. I don't want the guy I sold it to not to have a lens so I am looking for a used one. Please send me an e-mail if you have one laying around. Thanks.

I don't think it is even possible to purchase this lens on its own. It seems that it is only bundled with the JVC cameras.

You might be able to find someone who has upgraded to a better lens and no longer uses the stock lens.

I changed out to a 17x lens and have a 16, virtually unused, if you're interested.
