Hi All,
I need to post some footage on the website, can someone please help me as which format is the best for it? and how to do it?

There are several options available. If you want to keep it simple, start with the WMV file type. Then try a few of the presets - start at about "512 Kbps Video" and then maybe the one above and below it. You need to figure out your choice for the compromise of quality versus file size.
Once the file is the way you like it, just upload it to your website and post a link to it.

I agree that using wmv clips is simplest and the quality is excellent. Word of caution, if your clips are DV widescreen make when rendering that in the video settings of the render dialogue box you change the pixel aspect ratio manually to 1.2121.

i use procoder and debugmode frameserver for creating HQ wmv file.

Edward never gives bad advice. Windows Media is a good choice. Flash is just another option, and if you want a free converter, you could try
