I mentioned this briefly before, but I have a 30th birthday event coming up and they are doing a red carpet event. I am going to need 2 handheld microphones, either corded or cordless. I use Sony FX7 cameras. Anyone have a recommendation? I would like to stay a little on the cheaper side, as I don't have much purpose for them later (I'll definitely keep one, but might return the other). Thanks!

there are numerous choices.
Shure SM58, SM63 (my mic of choice) VP64, Electrovoice RE50 and 635 series come to mind. I think all of them would do the job superbly for you.

Any dynamic cardioid mic would work. I use a Behringer XM8500 which is basically a Shure SM58 but at a fraction of the price (SM58s aren't cheap). Just hit up a music store.
