I asked this in the Digital Compositing thread but got no response: are there any plugins that provide for motion tracking within Premiere Pro CS3?
Thanks.
Thanks.
View Full Version : Motion tracking plugin? Graham Hickling August 15th, 2008, 07:46 PM I asked this in the Digital Compositing thread but got no response: are there any plugins that provide for motion tracking within Premiere Pro CS3? Thanks. Jiri Fiala August 16th, 2008, 02:09 AM I don`t think there is. May I ask what would you do with the tracking data in Premiere? It`s not exactly a compositing app. Graham Hickling August 16th, 2008, 03:43 PM I sometimes do greenscreening directly in Premiere, and it would be handy to have the greenscreen layer track the background. Boris Continuun actually has a Matchmove plugin included in its Premiere package, but amusingly when you apply it a message pops up saying something along the lines of "Sorry - we havent got tracking working in CS3 yet"! Jack Zhang August 16th, 2008, 06:50 PM You could try Matchmover Pro, This thread shows the results of a HV20 matchmove: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/hdv2-hv-series-sample-clips/102878-hv20-matchmove-shot-rex.html Jiri Fiala August 17th, 2008, 04:42 AM Offtopic: That's a nice dream you have there, Jack :) George Kroonder August 17th, 2008, 05:06 AM You could try Matchmover Pro SInce Autodesk aquired RealViz this is no longer available. My advice is to Graham is use After Effects, that's really what it's there for... George/ Jiri Fiala August 17th, 2008, 05:58 AM I second that... If you don't want to render intermediate steps, you can try Dynamic Link. It works at times :) Jack Zhang August 17th, 2008, 06:38 PM Offtopic: That's a nice dream you have there, Jack :) I actually did go there recently. |
