I´m putting subtitles on various clips. The subtitles are boxed with a matte video generator. There are some clips where I have both subtitles and titles. Wherever these coincide, both the subtitles and titles become very blurry. The text loses all it´s sharpness. This also happens whenever there is a dissolve. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem?
Thanks, Kirsten

is the fuzziness in the exported final product as well, or just in the canvas window? FCP will dumb it's display down to keep the result real time while editing, but that's jsut on display within FCP and shouldn't effect the output.

Check your positioning in the Motion tab on the subtitle text. Under the Motion menu in Basic Motion, the Centre numbers should not be decimals. Use only whole numbers (this happens often if you drag your text box into location in the Canvas window). Also, in the Text generator, make sure to do the same in the Origin boxes under the Controls tab.

Thanks for that.
Another text problem : I've got scrolling text and it is very uneven... doesn't scroll smoothly. Is there a filter I need to put on this to make it smooth?
