View Full Version : This is a nicely done video with the EX1, I think.

I ran across this one on the EX1 Vimeo channel. It is a movie trailer. Most of the videos (to my taste) are overdone slow motion effects or overdone dramatic effect with little real depth. No major criticism. I am guilty of the same thing. This one really struck me. It is called: "Born to Skate", but it is not the usual skateboard video. The composition, subjects, filming, and editing are really good in my opinion. I don't think this guy posts here. Can't wait to see the full movie.

What do you think?

I've sent this off to my skateboard friends! Great work and the slowmo was well done.

Very nice. The stuttering, slo-mo work was fantastic.

I wonder how much was done with the EX1 and i wonder if the vignetting was an intentional look. some of those shots were really nice and almost looked HDR. im guessing the slo-mo stuff was done with specialty cameras, probably slomotec.de which is credited at the end.

Hi
Thanks for posting my video/trailer here. Was kind of surprised, because I got most EX1 knowledge out of this forum. The Highspeed shot, is not done with the EX1, but with a special Slowmo HD Camera from Slowmotec. A company from a guy, who builds slomocameras himself... great guy and company. Supported us for free.

Everything else is purely shot with the EX1. Vignetting was intentional and may be too strong in some shots.

If you have any questions. Just ask, and I will answer if I can :)

Greetings
Sebastian
