I have a JVC GY HD 110U and am looking for the best tape-less storage system. I might upgrade to a different camera in a year or so and was wondering if you can use a tapless solution on multiple cameras?

I know Firestores are camera specific... are there any other brands that are not?

The Firestore drives aren't entirely camera-specfic but do have different versions dependng on the codec required. If you know what you plan to use in the future you might ask if they have something which will work with both, and likewise for other manufacturers.
