hello, i recently bought Sony HVR-HD1000p, i'm having a hardtime to find the accesories such as wireless mic and lens converter, anybody knows where can i get it or maybe tell me the brand name.

thanks alot, but i'm looking for wireless mic, i've call b&H and the said i can't put sennheiser g2 for this camera, but the other day somehow i've found wireless mic made by azden that work just like g2, is that true? does anybody use it?

If you get a Beach Tek adapter you can use and xlr mike. I have the Azden and don't recommend it.

I'm not sure that's true. From the look of it, the Receiver comes with both XLR and 1/8" mini cables. The mini should plug right into the HD1000 with no problem.

I use the Azden 200UPR and on a recent shoot using the mini connector, the audio was blown way out. I had to drop the mic volume to the absolute bottom and still ended up hot a few times. The adjustable volume on the reciever was turned way down too and the transmitter was adjusted to the midline (couldn't get access to it since it was already in the groom's pocket.) What issues are you having with your Azden? And has anyone else had issues with their wireless and this cam?
