i have been working with FCP and compressor for close to 2 years now. I am still using version 2.0.1 of compressor.
my question/concern that i have with compressor is anytime i edit moving still images (ken burns effect) with dissolves in FCP and encode the best settings on compressor for DVD, there is much pixilation artifacts during the dissolves. it does this anytime i use FCP to make the video and compressor to encode it. i use the best setting in compressor with 7.7 bit rate with 9.0 on the high end (can never move the slider any further than that). does anyone else ever see this happen?
attached is a .wmv file of this for an example of this issue. sorry, its all i have.
thanks in advance for any possible suggestions!
