Cool, would love to see it in HD once you work that out. I would recommend some pull focuses and maybe couple of different shots to fit the music but otherwise its great, makes me want have some nice coffee :)

What lens(s) were you using? Great vid man...

I agree on the pull focus tip. I find it much harder to do smoothly, with the brevis/flip and cheap canon 50mm 1.8 lens, than to do with the naked XHA1.
Plastic lens! I will be investing in some follow focus gears soon.

In hindsight the static shots were a bit boring,(except for espresso heads like myself) but something to think about when i get downstairs and shoot some more coffee stuff.

I visited your blogsite and was really impressed with the 'crave clip'. How did you make your music?

The wedding clip was great to. Did you have your adapter when you filmed?

What editing software do you use? Great skills in post!

very nice. what kind of lighting were you using? and did you do any color correction or use any filters during shooting or in post?

the movements were very smooth. did you use anything to assist you?

The lighting was a homemade cheap worklight setup diffused with some old curtain muslin cloth, smashing in on either side of my coffee machine.

This one i might have used some minor color correction but i do remember setting my color temp, and the raw footage being quite warm. No filters. Just the brevis/50mm1.8. I used imovie to edit, so very limited what you can do there. Trying to learn PP CS3.

I used this very very old fluid head tripod, with wooden legs, old cranks.(no termites thank god!) I should post a photo of it. It looks exactly like the tripod they used in the latest king kong movie. Very smooth.

Saying that, the next one will be better.

No adapter shots in that highlight, but your the 2nd person to mention that. cool :)

I used Avid. Adobe Premiere can do all the same things though, and is cheaper as well.

The groovy coffee vid is great, just more shots needed, as an insert that would be great but mixed with some other high ocatane shots, although if you were to slowmo that and ad a classic piece it would work pretty well too.
