I recently tried to install logic on my G5, and it said that I needed to update Quicktime 7.1.6 to install. I did & was able to instal Logic, but now FCP is not working properly. Video slugs that are suppose to be black are bright green. Also when there is no video present, just say a track of music with no video overlaid yet, the video output is green.

FCP 5.1 - QT 7.4.1 - OS 10.4.11
2ghz G5 power mac

Any ideas?

That's a video driver issue- run your software updates again and then trash preferences.
