The Sony SR does a very good job of limiting iris to f/4 (or larger) in bright line. However, with only 1 ND filter it does this by often driving shutter-speed to above 1/125th creating totally unacceptable strobing on rapidly moving objects.
The solution is to screw-in an ND filter. What would be nice is a 37mm "device" that was an ND filter with a nice lens hood. Ideally, a sexy rectangular hood.
Cokin makes a nice but slightly cheap looking unit that holds 2 drop-in filters.
