Anybody have an idea when the PDW-U1 will have the possibility to write EX1 content to XDCAM HD disks?
There would be an software upgrade but till now nothing...

It was initially meant to be April but now I've read in the 3rd Quarter of the year.

somebody knows more about this device?
it should be useful to storage the ex1 files to xdcamhd disks

I might be wrong but isn't this what the new Clip browser 2.0 does? It transcodes EX-files in to the two XDCAM HD-file formats with the optional plug in.

@ NAB Sony showed the ability to copy any data, any format to the XDCAM discs, in the windows environment. I actually copied some windows files over to the XDCAM disc at the both.
