I am missing a specific cable for my onboard camera light kit that I lost. I can't find it anywhere. It's the cable that plugs my light into the battery. I'm trying to not have to buy the whole light again.

I can't find the cable anywhere. Anyone have a similar experience?

If you can't find one, it really shouldn't be hard to make. Get a cheap AC extension cord, cut off the male end (OUCH!), get a male car cigarette lighter end at the Source or wherever, connect the two sets of wires (this is DC - don't worry about connecting the "right" wires) , tape everything up (or heat shrink it) and Robert is your father's brother.

So you're saying that the ground and 12v (or whatever the DC positive voltage is) can be interchanged without any consequences? Thats news to me.

Sorry, missed the reply. On a DC on-camera light with no circuitry besides wire to light, polarity shouldn't matter.
