Fiebelkorn July 1st, 2008, 09:03 PM No, I haven't even asked. I just happen to find it when I was looking for J2K hardware compression. Anyway they seem to have a nice quantity of several different products. I just don't know if they have Russian prices of if they have european prices. Klas Persson July 3rd, 2008, 02:19 AM Camera DC2K 9900€ 200 fps upgrade + 80gb storage 6400€ 400 fps upgrade + 160gb storage 9600€ 320gb storage 13600€ 700 fps upgrade + 320gb storage 16200€ They've also got 640 & 1,2TB versions for the 700 fps version but with no price info. The 4k camera will cost about 17k€ External flash 2k raw digital video recorder 80gb 4400€, 160gb 6400€, 320gb 8600 Juan M. M. Fiebelkorn July 6th, 2008, 10:47 PM Well, those prices seem amazingly good. Imagine shooting at 700 FPS 2K for just 26,000 euros. A Phantom camera costs you over 200K for shooting 1000 fps Jose A. Garcia July 29th, 2008, 04:19 PM I'd need to see sample clips... If it doesn't look like miniDV on steroids, it might be a good option... Juan M. M. Fiebelkorn July 31st, 2008, 02:00 AM they've got many on their website. http://www.kinor.ru/download/demo/ Juan M. M. Fiebelkorn August 3rd, 2008, 08:51 PM So no comments about it looking like MiniDV on steroids or not? Bob Hart August 3rd, 2008, 10:12 PM Looks good to me. You may discover that the .avi files may not play on Windows Media Player if saved to a USB removable drive but VLC plays it just fine from this source. Jose A. Garcia August 5th, 2008, 03:59 AM To me it looks far closer to HDV than RED One or SI2K. Not an option. Bob Hart August 5th, 2008, 05:11 PM To me, it's not bad at all for 200 frames per second slow-mo. However I cannot be a legitimate judge as I have not seen the slow-mo footage from the other contenders in similar settings and lighting conditions. Also, if the system behaves similarly to the RED and SI2K, the colour rendition and sharpness may be a product of the operator's choices in processing the raw files. Furthur to above, the bicycle vision plays back fine in Windows media player. The pistol clip still faults out in Windowes media player but plays fine in VLC player. |
