It's not really clear from the posts exactly what Christoffer means by seeing the film lagging. It could be just the usual Vegas skipped-frame playback when the preview quality is set too high. If playback is not smooth when set to Preview - Auto then he should check whether there is anything else running in background that is eating resources.
