View Full Version : Manfrotto Hi Hat

I want to use my Libec LS-38 75mm head on a Manfrotto 529B 100mm hi hat. I purchased the Manfrotto adapter (p/n 319) but it rides so low on the 75mm head that it lifts it up in the bowl and the threads don't stick through the hi hat enough to get the handle threaded on. Did I get the wrong adapter? I just noticed Libec sells one that may have been the correct choice. Any ideas?

Hey Wade

Did you ever get this sorted out?

I'm just about to buy a Libec 38, and fitting it to a hi hat is one of the questions I've been asking. Everyone says in theory it does, then I saw your post here.

I knew this got discussed somewhere else, maybe the answer you're looking for...

Check out this thread:

Post #4 seems to have this nailed.

(You'll also notice he does a very good pastiche of my review style, sod!).

Keep us posted.
