I have a Canon XM2 which I don't even have to think about. I have now have an XM1 without an instruction manual to help with additional work. I can't seem to get the same settings I need as I get on the XM2.

The problem is I don't quite understand the select wheel near the eyepiece viewfinder. I just simply want it set to Auto-Exposure and Manual Focus. The wheel seems to affect focus/exposure quite markedly. I just want to understand the select wheel. (Spotlight, Sand & Snow, Green Frame etc...

Can anyone help or point me to an online manual...Thanks.
