I found an audio file I want to make into a video via some typography. Though, I've never done that. Does anyone have any tips, or a tutorial they've used before that would help? Anything they learned along the way that they wish someone had taught them? It's going to be a daunting task, but I really think this could turn out well. Any help is appreciated!

Wow - I feel so out of it. I had no clue what you were talking about and had to google around a bit. ('Kinetic typography' turns out to be a better phrase to google).
No clue how to do it efficiently, sorry, but thanks for the heads-up on the concept!
P.S. The second one here (Intonation) was fun: http://devsushi.com/2007/02/26/kinetic-typography-typographic-treatment-of-an-audio-sample/

That's my favorite one. It's a bit harsh on the language, though.

Here's a short tutorial, very basic but a beginning:

That video is a big help! Thanks! I wouldn't have thought about the Null Object. Anyone else?
